Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
  2. Mix in the egg and half of the flour; gradually add remaining flour and salt until combined.
  3. Knead dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth; let rise in a greased bowl covered with plastic wrap for about an hour.
  4. Prepare the cheesecake filling by beating cream cheese with sugar and vanilla; fold in strawberries and jam.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread filling evenly over it, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture, then roll up tightly.
  6. Cut into 12 pieces and let rise again for 30 minutes on a greased baking sheet.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Prepare glaze by mixing cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and enough milk for desired consistency.
  9. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls before serving.
