Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ⅓ cup white chocolate chips (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch pan with foil and spray with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in cocoa powder until combined and set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil until light and foamy. Mix in the cooled butter/cocoa mixture along with vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
  6. For decoration, fill a ziplock bag with melted white chocolate, cut off one corner, and pipe onto each brownie in a spider web pattern.
