  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz fettuccine (or pasta of choice)
  • Reserved pasta water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden brown (6–8 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  5. Stir in honey and simmer for one minute.
  6. Add heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened (2–3 minutes).
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in sauce.
  8. Add drained pasta, tossing everything together while using reserved pasta water as needed to adjust sauce consistency.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley or green onions if desired.
