Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sheets puff pastry (thawed)
  • ½ cup seedless raspberry jam (or any preferred fruit jam)
  • ¼ cup flour (for dusting)
  • 2 tbsp confectioner’s sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the puff pastry into a 12×16 inch rectangle. Cut in half to create two rectangles.
  3. Spread ¼ cup of raspberry jam evenly over one rectangle and place the second rectangle on top, gently pressing down to seal.
  4. Cut the layered pastry into ½ inch strips, then cut each strip in half lengthwise.
  5. Twist each strip gently from both ends and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, allowing space between each twist.
  6. Chill the twists in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes before baking for optimal flakiness.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and let cool on a wire rack. Dust with confectioner’s sugar prior to serving if desired.
