  • 1 cup semolina flour

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup honey, warmed
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Layer 7 sheets of phyllo dough in the dish, brushing each with melted butter.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together semolina flour, eggs, sugar, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth. Pour over the phyllo layers.
  4. Top with the remaining phyllo sheet; brush with butter and lightly score the top.
  5. Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes, then drizzle warmed honey and sprinkle toasted sesame seeds before slicing.
