  • 1 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup gochujang (red chili paste)
  • 3 tbsp honey (or maple syrup for vegan)
  • Vegetable broth or water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and cut into 1-inch cubes.
  3. Toss tofu cubes with tamari, then coat with cornstarch and breadcrumbs.
  4. Bake on a lined baking sheet for 25 minutes until golden.
  5. While baking, whisk sauce ingredients together in a pot and thicken over heat.
  6. Toss baked tofu with half the sauce and serve over rice with veggies.
