  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cheesecake filling by mixing cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together black cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Beat softened butter with light brown sugar and remaining granulated sugar until fluffy. Mix in egg yolks one at a time followed by vanilla.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Scoop cookie dough, flatten it, place cheesecake filling in the center, fold the dough around it, and roll into balls.
